Michael Chaney, CEO and Lloyd Schwing, COO, co-founders of Marine Healthcare Services,
LLC (MHS) are proud to announce a new revolutionary methodology and logistics in providing
crew medical services. Our newly developed internal and external “state of the art” systems
address and eliminates existing inherent problems, that until now, existed within the Crew
Medical arena. These systems are designed to expedite crew medical needs without
compromising the patient’s need for a thorough comprehensive assessment and
treatment. Our technology allows all responsible parties, such as the vessel owner,
the ship’s captain, port agent and relevant P & I club representative real time
access to the medical progress of the patient crew member. We at MHS are

will save vessel owners time, money and enhance utilization of their existing resources.

Our Team was forged from years of “hands on” practical experience within the maritime
industry. Mr. Chaney, a CPA, with over twenty years of global executive responsibility in managing
an international fleet of major tonnage has extensive experience in understanding and addressing
the vessel owners everyday problems and concerns, including the crew medical aspect. With years
as Managing Director, he is keenly aware of medical logistical and personnel problems, medical cost factors and insurance issues, a vessel owner is confronted with. Mr. Chaney, a staunch advocate of efficiently managing vessel operating costs is committed to offering the vessel owner high quality medical service on pure physician/facility cost
basis only, with zero mark-up for our service.

Mr. Schwing is recognized as a leading authority in the West Gulf region on Crew Medical challenges.
As a result of his penchant for “hands-on” Crew Medical management, he recently was commended for his
humanitarian services by the U.S. Coast Guard. He has managed the logistics for thousands of Foreign Seafarers
who have called upon Ports throughout Texas and Louisiana. Mr. Schwing’s dedication has manifested itself by his
involvement in several extremely complex and extraordinary cases which included the participation in the emergency
medical evacuation of critically ill Mariners. |
